Shaggy Dog, The (film) In this update of the 1959 comedy classic, workaholic Deputy D.A. Dave Douglas takes on a case involving an animal laboratory—one that will take him away from his wife and kids, who already yearn for his all-too-distracted attention. But when Dave is accidentally infected with a top-secret, genetic mutation serum, he’s transformed from family dad to family dog. As a dog, Dave is able to gain a whole new perspective into his family’s secrets and dreams, learning what it really means to be his family’s best friend.
