Hyperion Disney publishing company; published its first book, Amazing Grace, on September 26, 1991. Hyperion’s catalog has been quite varied, with adult fiction, biographies, cookbooks, travel guides, and sports titles, as well as a number of Disney-themed publications. In 1999, Disney Editions took over as the imprint of the Disney-themed adult books. Hyperion was purchased by Hachette Book Group in July 2013.
