Broggie, Roger E. (1908-1991) Broggie began his Disney career in 1939 in the Camera Department and later established the Disney Studio machine shop. Being interested in trains, he helped Walt Disney with his train hobby and engineered the layout for the scale-model train in Disney’s Holmby Hills backyard. He later headed MAPO and retired in 1975. One of the locomotives on the Walt Disney World Railroad is named after him. He was named a Disney Legend in 1990.
