Adventureland Veranda Restaurant in Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World; opened on October 1, 1971, serving fast food with a tropical flavor (such as teriyaki sauce and a pineapple ring on a hamburger). Sponsored by Kikkoman beginning October 5, 1977. It closed in 1994. It was later utilized for special events and as a character meet and greet area. In 2015 the restaurant reopened as Jungle Navigation Co., Ltd. Skipper Canteen. Staffed by Jungle Cruise skippers, the restaurant features “World Famous Jungle Cuisine” served in several unique dining rooms.
