Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival
We are so excited to share that this month-long festival returns to Disney California Adventure Park during weekends in April! New this year, we can’t wait to visit the Festival Marketplaces, where guests can sip and savor delicious flavors from throughout the state of California. The Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival will also include culinary demonstrations, appearances by celebrity chefs, and informative seminars that celebrate some of the best of delicious California cuisine!
Frozen – Live at the Hyperion
The story of Frozen will come to spectacular life in an all-new theatrical production in summer 2016 at the Hyperion Theater at Disney California Adventure Park. This new show will immerse families in the world of Arendelle as never before, with elaborate costumes and sets, stunning special effects, and surprising scenic transformations.
Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters
Cars Land salesman Luigi has been visiting family in Italy and decided to invite his cousins back to Disney California Adventure Park! To celebrate Race Day in Carburetor County, these Italian cars will demonstrate dances from their home country with Cars Land guests during the all-new Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters attraction.
Soarin’ Around the World
Announced at D23 EXPO 2015, guests visiting both Disney California Adventure Park and Epcot can experience a brand-new Soarin’ experience this year! Soarin’ Around the World will take riders over some of the world’s most unique natural landscapes and man-made wonders. In addition to far off places, these enhancements include all-new digital screens and projections in both California and Florida.
WALT DISNEY WORLD RESORT
Rivers of Light
Rivers of Light promises to be an innovative nighttime spectacular unlike anything ever seen in Disney Parks. The show will take place in the evening at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and is hosted by a pair of mythical hosts that come to the river bearing gifts of light. These characters set out from the shore on elaborate lantern vessels for a dramatic dance of water and light to summon animal spirits. We positively cannot wait for this “Kiss Goodnight” spectacular.
Tiffins Signature Restaurant
Tiffins restaurant will celebrate the art of traveling and will feature a diverse menu drawing from places that inspired the creation of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park. Open for both lunch and dinner, Tiffins will also include waterfront views from comfortable indoor and outdoor seating areas. It’s all in the Disney details, so if you’re wondering about the story behind the name, “tiffin” is an Indian English word for a midday meal or a type of container used to carry food while traveling.
Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire
This summer, the all-new live stage show “Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire” heads to the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort! Against the iconic backdrop of Cinderella Castle, Mickey Mouse and his friends will welcome characters from some of Disney’s newest classics: The Princess and the Frog, Tangled, and Frozen.
Magic Kingdom 45th Anniversary
Magic Kingdom Park, the first Disney Park to open at Walt Disney World, will mark its 45th anniversary on October 1. Stay tuned to D23.com for updates!
The Invictus Games
Prince Harry’s Invictus Games heads to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, May 8-12. For the first time in the United States, this inspirational event celebrates our wounded servicemen and women from around the world competing in a variety of sports.
Frozen Ever After
Opening in the Norway Pavilion at Epcot, Frozen Ever After is an adventure for the entire family that immerses guests into the world of Frozen. The new attraction will transport us to Arendelle to relive some of our favorite moments and music from the film.
Disney Springs
Disney Springs continues to grow this year, with plans to add new eateries like STK Orlando, plus the opening of Town Center, which will feature Zara, Lilly Pulitzer, UGG, UNIQLO and many others. We are especially excited for the Sprinkles Cupcake ATM that will satisfy our sweet tooths 24/7.
SHANGHAI DISNEY RESORT
Grand Opening Celebration
In less than four months, Shanghai Disney Resort will host a grand opening celebration and welcome its first official guests. Mark June 16 on your calendars, D23 fans, as one of most exciting projects undertaken at Walt Disney Parks & Resorts becomes a reality. We absolutely cannot wait to experience the thrilling TRON Lightcycle Power Run in Tomorrowland and explore Treasure Cove, the first pirate-themed land in a Disney Park!

Tokyo DisneySea 15th Anniversary
Starting April 15, Tokyo DisneySea will kick off an almost yearlong celebration with a new fireworks spectacular and two other new shows! In honor of the crystal anniversary, these new experiences will celebrate the only Disney Park themed to the sea. Be sure to look for new costumes for our favorite Disney friends, special merchandise, and food and beverage.
Tokyo Disney Celebration Hotel
Opening this year at the Tokyo Disney Resort, the Tokyo Disney Celebration Hotel commemorates the magic and imagination of the theme parks in the guest rooms, the lobby, and the courtyards. Guests staying in the brand-new hotel will be surrounded by the ambiance of their favorite Disney Park memories, perfect for the Disney fan in all of us.

Disneyland Paris Half Marathon
Lace up your sneakers for a fairy-tale half marathon through Disneyland Paris in the inaugural Disneyland Paris Half Marathon Weekend taking place September 23–25. Everyone has the chance to run during the weekend with children, family 5k, and half marathon races over the three days.
Mickey and the Magician
An all-new production comes to life starting July 2 at Disneyland Paris. When the great Magician asks Mickey Mouse to clean up his studio, the dream of becoming a magician himself is too strong to resist. Of course, some magical friends like the Genie from Aladdin and Fairy Godmother from Cinderella come along for the journey.
The Forest of Enchantment
Just in time for spring and in the spirit of a Broadway musical, The Forest of Enchantment: A Disney Musical Adventure pays tribute to nature. Pocahontas and John Smith, Baloo and King Louie, Tarzan, Rapunzel and Flynn Rider, and Merida perform their iconic songs live starting February 10 to May 8.

Iron Man Experience
Announced during the D23 EXPO, Iron Man is heading to Hong Kong Disneyland this year! Not only will guests be able to meet and greet with the Super Hero, we’ll also be able to embark on an epic adventure on the Iron Man Experience. Guests will board the Iron Wing for a short flight to new Hong Kong Stark Tower, where they find themselves in a fight–alongside Iron Man–against the evil forces of Hydra.

British Isles Itinerary in 2016
During the summer, Disney Cruise Line will adventure to the British Islands for the first time! This breathtaking 12-night British Isles voyage on the Disney Magic departs from Dover, England, and visits destinations in Scotland, Ireland, France, and England.
