Texas John Slaughter (film) Theatrical compilation of several television episodes. Released first in Malaysia in April 1960. Directed by Harry Keller. In 1870, Slaughter rides into Friotown, kills two gunmen, and is asked to join the Texas Rangers. He initially refuses, but when his herd is stolen by the Davis gang, he becomes a Ranger fighting many spectacular battles with the gang. Eventually, Davis overplays his hand and dies by Slaughter’s gun in the great climactic battle. 74 min.
