Sword in the Stone Ceremony, The Merlin challenges young guests to pull the sword from the stone in regular presentations; in Fantasyland at Disneyland and in Magic Kingdom Park in Walt Disney World. Opened in California in 1983, in Florida in 1994, and at Disneyland Paris in 1992 (as Merlin L’Encanteur).
