O’Connor, Ken

O’Connor, Ken (1908-1998) Layout artist; started working at Disney in 1935 and served as art director or layout man on 13 features and nearly 100 shorts, including Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Fantasia, Lady and the Tramp, and the Academy Award-winning Toot, Whistle, Plunk and Boom. He retired in 1978 but returned to work on the development of shows such as World of Motion and Universe of Energy at Epcot, and the film Back to Neverland for the Animation Tour at Disney-MGM Studios. He was honored with the Disney Legends award in 1992.
