Mumford, David

Mumford, David (1956-2003) Designer; joined WED Enterprises in 1979 as a show set draftsman working on The Land at Epcot. He later worked on show set design for several attractions before becoming show producer for Star Tours at Tokyo Disneyland and Aladdin’s Oasis at Disneyland. As a Disney aficionado, he became an unofficial historian at Walt Disney Imagineering, writing a number of articles and speaking at Disneyana Conventions with his colleague Bruce Gordon. Together Mumford and Gordon wrote the book, Disneyland: The Nickel Tour.
