Light Magic

Light Magic Show at Disneyland that replaced the Main Street Electrical Parade, beginning on May 23, 1997, and ending on September 1, 1997, featuring lights, fiber-optic effects, special effects, music, pixies, and Disney characters, encouraging everyone “to dream and to believe that those dreams can come true.”  Deemed a spectacular or “streetacular” rather than a parade, the show is presented on four moving floats or stages (each 80 feet long and 11 feet wide) that are set up in between “it’s a small world” and the Matterhorn, and again on Main Street.
