Gracey, Yale (1910-1983) Special effects expert; joined Disney in 1939 as a layout artist on Pinocchio and Fantasia. He moved to WED Enterprises in 1961, where he created special effects and lighting for The Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean, among other attractions. He retired in 1975, and was named a Disney Legend posthumously in 1999.
