Tompson, Ruthie After appearing as an extra in the Alice Comedies as a child in the 1920s, she joined the Studio’s Ink and Paint Department in 1937, eventually becoming supervisor of the Scene Planning Department. She retired in 1975 and was named a Disney Legend in 2000.
