Rummell, Peter He came to Disney as president of the Disney Development Company in 1985; he had been an officer with the Arvida Corporation, which Disney had bought. Rummell was later promoted to head Disney Design and Development, which encompassed both Walt Disney Imagineering and the Disney Development Company. When Walt Disney Imagineering and Disney Development Company merged in 1996, Rummell was named chairman of the new organization. He left the company in 1997.
