L’Originale Alfredo di Roma Ristorante Restaurant in Italy in World Showcase at Epcot, opened on October 1, 1982. Guests partake of fettuccine Alfredo or any number of Italian pastas and other delicacies in this full-service restaurant, surrounded by intriguing trompe l’oeil paintings of Italian scenes. Occasionally, a waiter or two might step aside and belt out an operatic aria in between courses to the delight of guests. The restaurant closed on August 31, 2007, with the Patina Restaurant Group taking over operation on September 1 with a name change to Tutto Italia.
