Konetzni, Al (1915-2016) He joined Disney’s Consumer Products Division in New York in 1953 as an artist and idea man, and for three decades he was responsible for developing and designing hundreds of different products featuring Disney characters. Among his best-known products are a Disney character lunch box in the shape of a school bus made by Aladdin, and the Pez Mickey and Donald candy dispensers. He retired in 1981 and was named a Disney Legend in 1999.
