Boyd, Barton K. (“Bo”) (1942-2011) Boyd began with Disney in 1968 as an assistant supervisor in merchandise at Disneyland, then became a buyer and moved to Walt Disney World to help create the Merchandise Division there. He later returned to the corporate headquarters in California and eventually became chairman of Disney Consumer Products. He retired in 2001, and was named a Disney Legend in 2011.
