Annual event at Walt Disney World showcasing handcrafted collectibles from international doll and toy makers, with limited-edition merchandise, workshops, and an auction; the inaugural event, titled the Walt Disney World Teddy Bear Convention, was held Dec. 7–11, 1988. Also known as the Doll and Teddy Bear Showcase and, beginning in 2000, Teddy Bear & Doll Weekend. The final event was held in 2008. A similar event at Disneyland, the Teddy Bear and Doll Classic, was held 1993–94.
