Tarzan’s Treehouse Adventureland attraction in Disneyland that opened June 23, 1999, and took the place of the Swiss Family Treehouse. Guests climb a wooden staircase made from salvaged items from a shipwreck, cross an aged suspension bridge, then in the moss and vine-covered tree find the homes of Tarzan’s human parents, of his foster mother Kala, as well as the main hut where Tarzan lives. An interactive play area is at the base of the tree. Also at Hong Kong Disneyland; opened September 12, 2005.
