Social Lion (film) Special cartoon; released on October 15, 1954. Directed by Jack Kinney. A lion, feared by all in the wilds of Africa, learns that no one fears him when he escapes in the big city after being captured. However, when he tries to dress up like a human, everyone then recognizes him as a lion and is terrified. The lion ends up in the zoo, scaring all the zoo visitors.
