Rivers of Light Nighttime show at the Discovery River Amphitheater at Disney’s Animal Kingdom; debuted Feb. 17, 2017, after several previews. The show, featuring a lantern ceremony filled with symbolism and storytelling, combines 11 floats with fountains and a soaring musical score in celebration of animals and nature. An updated version of the show, Rivers of Light: We Are One, premiered May 24, 2019, featuring imagery of animal characters from Disneynature films and classic moments in Disney animation.
