Ride a Northbound Horse (television) Two-part television show; aired on March 16 and 23, 1969. Directed by Robert Totten. An orphan boy, Cav Rand, saves to buy a horse, but others plot to get it. Stars Carroll O’Connor, Michael Shea, Ben Johnson, Dub Taylor, Andy Devine, Harry Carey, Jr., Jack Elam, Edith Atwater. Carroll O’Connor later went on to fame in the role of Archie Bunker on television’s All in the Family.
