After 25 years on the police force as a senior-ranking public relations officer, Ike Porter decides to hit the streets and is paired with a free-wheeling partner, Tony Jonas, who is half his age. Through a growing mutual respect for each other, their own brand of charm and unorthodox methods, the two solve more than their share of cases, while driving their superiors crazy.
