Ludwig, Irving (1910-2005) He joined Disney in 1940 to manage the roadshow engagements of Fantasia, and later became part of the sales administration staff of Walt Disney Productions. He was first vice president and domestic sales manager for the newly formed Buena Vista Distribution Company in 1953. In 1959 he became its president, a post he held until his retirement in 1980. He was honored with the Disney Legends Award in 1993.
