Lindquist, Jack (1927-2016) Lindquist began at Disneyland in 1955 as its first advertising manager. He later took other marketing positions, and was named marketing director of both Disneyland and Walt Disney World in 1971. He brought the Pigskin Classic to Anaheim. In October 1990, he was named president of Disneyland. He retired in 1993 and was named a Disney Legend in 1994.
