Hibler, Winston (1911-1976) Longtime Disney producer, associated with the nature films as a writer, and who was perhaps best known as the narrator of the True-Life Adventures. He joined Disney in 1942, scripting and directing armed-service training films during World War II. He went on to be a storyman and dialogue director on several animated features, including Alice in Wonderland, Cinderella, and Peter Pan. Affectionately known as Hib around the Disney lot, he produced such films as Perri, The Bears and I, Island at the Top of the World, and One Little Indian. Hib received the Disney Legends award posthumously in 1992.
