Davy Crockett: Rainbow in the Thunder (television) In this first of a new series of Davy Crockett films, which aired as a two-hour movie on November 20, 1988, Davy is a member of a band of Tennessee volunteers called upon to crush a Creek uprising. He sympathizes with the Indians, but has to rescue a young settler, Ory Palmer, from them. He refuses to support an Indian Affairs bill which President Jackson is proposing. Directed by Ian Thomas.
