Davy is tired of the continuing war between the Indians and the settlers, so he helps the army in putting an end to it. In saving the life of an Indian leader, he is shown to have compassion, and he helps push for the signing of a peace treaty. Stars Fess Parker, Buddy Ebsen, Basil Ruysdael, William Bakewell, Helene Stanley. This episode, along with the two that followed, were combined to become the theatrical feature, Davy Crockett, King of the Wild Frontier.
