The Child, a curious and mysterious alien pursued by bounty hunters on behalf of Imperial interests, made its surprise debut in the premiere episode of the Disney+ original series The Mandalorian. Now, fans of The Child can get their hands on a bounty of official merchandise! New toys and plush inspired by the character are available for pre-order on shopDisney.com.
Why the wait? “It was important to us that the reveal of the new character, the Child, be a special moment for fans, and we could not be more thrilled with the response,” Paul Southern, senior vice president, Licensing and Franchise, Lucasfilm, tells our friends at StarWars.com. “Today, we’re excited to release new products for pre-order on shopDisney.com, and are continuing to work closely with our licensees and retailers to roll out additional items including toys, collectibles, plush, games, apparel, and more, allowing fans to celebrate the newest addition to Star Wars.”
Hasbro’s Star Wars: The Black Series The Child figure will ship on approximately May 4, 2020.
Hasbro’s The Child Talking Plush Toy will ship on approximately May 18, 2020.
Hasbro’s The Bounty Collection—three packs featuring 2.2-inch collectible figures in six fun poses—will ship on approximately May 25, 2020.
Hasbro’s The Child 6.5-inch figure will ship on approximately May 11, 2020.
