D23 Fantastic Worlds Celebration Limited-Edition Disney “A Man and His Mouse” Mickey Mouse Plush
This Mickey Plush, created exclusively for D23 Fantastic Worlds Celebration, honors Mickey’s ‘Walter ego,’ Walt Disney. Disney artist John Hench decided to honor both man and mouse in Mickey’s 70th birthday portrait by dressing Mickey in an orange cardigan sweater, just like the sweaters that Walt Disney liked to wear around the Studio and WED (now Walt Disney Imagineering). This special-edition Mickey Mouse plush, wearing a similar cozy cardigan sweater, was created exclusively for D23 Members, to honor the Man behind the Mouse, Walter Elias Disney.
