Meet Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Star Tenoch Huerta Mejía

Who is Namor? If you ask M’Baku (Winston Duke), he’s a major threat to the people of Wakanda. “His people do not call him general or king,” M’Baku says. “They call him K’uk’ulkan, the feather serpent god.” Audiences will meet Namor in Marvel Studios’ Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, opening exclusively in theaters on Friday, November 11. The character, who debuted as the Sub-Mariner in Marvel Comics #1 in 1939, has been reimagined for the film as the ruler of Talokan, a hidden underwater civilization. Namor is a force to be reckoned with… but don’t take our word for it! On the red carpet at D23 Expo, actor Tenoch Huerta Mejía opened up about bringing Namor into the MCU. Watch the interview now to learn more about the actor and his character’s motivations.
