With Christmas just around the corner, it was on this day in 1952 that the Mickey Mouse cartoon short Pluto’s Christmas Tree was released in theaters. When Mickey chops down a choice Christmas tree, he is completely unaware that, much to Pluto’s dismay, it houses Chip ‘n’ Dale. But, when Minnie, Donald, and Goofy come a-caroling, all are reminded ’tis the season, and Pluto and the chipmunks put aside their differences in the spirit of Christmas.
