Disney’s Soda Fountain and Studio Store An old-fashioned soda fountain opened next to the El Capitan Theater on June 22, 2005, taking some of the space occupied by a Disney Store since 1998. It became a Ghirardelli’s Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop on November 15, 2013, with a redesigned Disney Studio Store.
