Curious to know what makes Agatha and her coven tick? Read on to discover more about the spellbinding characters of Agatha All Along, which debuted on Disney+ on September 18 with a two-episode premiere and new episodes dropping weekly.
Agatha Harkness
Drawing from the Marvel Comics’ titular powerful witch, Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn) stands as one of Earth’s most formidable sorceresses. She’s sharp, assertive, and always ready to take charge, making her an incredible friend—or an even more terrifying enemy. Agatha All Along explores a side of her we’ve never seen before, where she faces the possibility of losing everything.
Teen
Agatha makes it clear that while joining in on her journey comes with its perks, it also means aligning yourself with someone who boasts an impressive list of enemies. The enigmatic and sharp Teen (Joe Locke) isn’t fazed by this. In fact, it’s Agatha’s formidable reputation that piques his interest, making him the perfect sidekick for this spellbinding adventure.
Rio Vidal
Rio Vidal (Aubrey Plaza) is a force you can’t ignore. She’s the person everyone seemingly turns to in a crisis—everyone except Agatha, that is. The air practically crackles with tension when they’re in the same room, a history hinted at through loaded looks and sharp-edged banter. Just how deep their connection runs is a mystery known only to them.
Lilia Calderu
A centuries-old Sicilian witch renowned for her divination skills, Lilia Calderu (Patti LuPone) proves indispensable. With her steadfastness, wisdom, and resourcefulness, she adds a touch of stoic gravitas to the coven’s otherwise vibrant personalities.
Jennifer Kale
If Jennifer (Sasheer Zamata) had her way, she’d steer clear of Agatha forever. But with the tempting promise of The Witches’ Road, turning down an invitation to join the coven is easier said than done. From witchcraft to beauty hacks, she’s armed with recipes to keep the coven looking youthful forever—literally.
Alice Wu-Gulliver
Rounding out Agatha’s coven is protection witch Alice Wu-Gulliver (Ali Ahn). For Alice, The Witches’ Road presents a chance to confront and make peace with her past. A trained police officer, she’s no stranger to danger, prepared to tackle threats from both the mystical realm and the real world.
Mrs. Hart
She has a keen eye for fine cutlery and a soft spot for tending to flowers. Mrs. Hart (Debra Jo Rupp) makes her return from WandaVision as Agatha’s warm and unintentionally hilarious neighbor. She never turns down a party invitation, no matter how strange or sinister a gathering might be.
