1. “I’m Going to Disney World!”
While everyone else is inside watching the Big Game, go out and enjoy the day at a Disney theme park. If you couldn’t care less about touchdowns and end zones, nothing will make you more excited than spending the day at the Happiest (or most Magical) Places on Earth.

2. Eat Some Sporty Snacks
While you’re at the parks, you can still honor the spirit of the sporty day without actually watching any football. Why not get your grub on at the End Zone Food Court Disney’s All-Star Resort, or enjoy a hot dog from Casey’s Corner at Walt Disney World and the Refreshment Corner at Disneyland?

3. Make A Tasty Treat
If you enjoy the traditions of the Big Game day but would rather not actually watch the game, you can still celebrate with fun Game Day snacks. Try out a fun recipe like the ones posted on D23.com, such as our Bean Dip or Spinach and Artichoke Dip. Just because you don’t watch the Big Game doesn’t mean you don’t need some big snacks, so use the day to make something delicious.

Shadowhunters

4. Binge Watch Your Favorite Shows
There are so many shows and so little time—so use this day to make time! Queue up some of your favorite ABC, Freeform, Disney Channel, or Disney XD shows and have yourself a marathon! Are you behind on Modern Family? Want to find out what all the excitement over Designated Survivor is all about? Have your kids been begging you to watch Mech-X4 with them? Now is your chance, whether it be through the channels’ apps, their websites, or a streaming service. You can also check out the content streaming on Freeform.com, including all of Beyond and Shadowhunters, and the newest episodes of Switched at Birth and The Fosters. There are so many new and classic shows available online that there will certainly be something to capture your interest and have you cheering for all your favorite characters. Use the day of the Big Game for a big binge watch.

Freaky Friday

5. Make It a Disney Day
Even if you can’t make it out to the theme parks, you can always track down a Disney event in your city. Look for a performance of Disney on Ice or Disney Theatrical Group touring shows. Or check out the new musical Freaky Friday in La Jolla, California. See if your local museums have any Disney exhibits, such as The Science Behind Pixar at the California Science Center. Wherever you are, there’s sure to be a Disney event to help make your day more magical!

6. Have a Super Sunday
Don’t want to watch the Big Game but still want to have a super time? Why not head to your local comic book store and catch up on your favorite stories, or read something new? Marvel and Star Wars have plenty of comic adventures for you to pursue, and Disney even has their own Disney Kingdoms comics that explore the worlds of the Haunted Mansion, Enchanted Tiki Room, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and more!

Rogue One

7. Forget the Game, Get Galactic!
While everyone else is at home watching TV, why not blast off to your nearest movie theater and catch a screening of Rogue One? While they’re cheering for their favorite teams, you can cheer for our favorite intergalactic rebels as they fight the forces of the Empire. If you have time afterwards, why not go home and rewatch Star Wars: A New Hope, too, and see how the stories fit together to tell the tale of our favorite fight against the Dark side.

8. Find Your Own Big (or Little!) Game
If you’re into games, but not the one on TV, maybe it’s time to look at a different screen— like your phone! Spend the day enjoying games like Disney Emoji Blitz, Disney Tsum Tsum, or even the newly released Disney Color and Play. On the day for the Big Game, you might as well have some fun playing your own game by yourself, or with friends and family.
