We’ve surfed headlong into summer, which also means D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event is just around the corner… but until we all descend into Anaheim for three incredible days of fun (do you have your tickets yet?!), there’s a ton of amazing content on Disney+ (and Hulu) to enjoy!
Look for the big premiere of X-Men ’97 Season 2, kicking off July 1, as well as the next gaggle of talented designers battling it out on the latest season of Project Runway, beginning July 10. Plus, follow along as Dancing with the Stars goes searching for its next pro dancer in an all-new series hosted by previous DWTS winner Robert Irwin, premiering July 14. Then, on July 17, we reacquaint with fan favorites Red and Chloe in Descendants: Wicked Wonderland.
Debuting July 23, history buffs will delight in Pompeii: Out of Time with Tom Hiddleston—a fusion of cinematic scripted drama and investigative documentary storytelling, hosted by the Loki star, that transports audiences to ancient Rome in the hours before and during the eruption of Mount Vesuvius.
At the end of the month, on July 29, don’t miss the 20th Century Studios’ blockbuster The Devil Wears Prada 2 as it makes its Disney+ (and Hulu) streaming debut.
For some live fun, over July 4th weekend, don’t miss out on Disney Celebrates America—a 24-hour programming event led by World News Tonight anchor David Muir… then later in the month, tune in for the iconic four-day Lollapalooza Music Festival, featuring over 170 bands across eight stages; it starts rocking Grant Park in Chicago, IL, on July 30.
