Donald’s Golf Game, released on this day in 1938, knocks out more antics with Donald Duck, the leader of the club… the golf club, that is. When everybody’s favorite birdie sets out for a nice relaxing game of golf, his rascally nephews set out to have their own fun. In fact, the less-than-angelic trio is so naughty that if you look closely in one scene, you’ll see that the feathers on one nephew’s head closely resemble devil horns. An interesting fact is that this is the only cartoon short where Huey, Dewey, and Louie are wearing red, yellow, and orange outfits. But, regardless of the color of their outfits, they’re always sure to leaving Donald seeing red, proving that his luck is never up to par.
