Los Angeles International Airport

Los Angeles International Airport Designers from Walt Disney Imagineering helped in the redesign of the theme restaurant at LAX, which reopened in December 1996.  The Encounter Restaurant, originally known as the Theme Building Restaurant, was built in 1961 with a then futuristic look resembling a flying saucer on parabolic stilts.
