Following the Annual Meeting of Shareholders in Chicago, Illinois, D23 Members enjoyed a complimentary screening of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ newest feature, Zootopia, the day before the film’s release! Members cheered as the adventures of Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde unfolded in the bustling metropolis of Zootopia.
The screening took place in the beautiful and historic Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University. The 4,000-seat theater was built in 1889 using modern technology, including electric lighting and air conditioning, and was the tallest building in Chicago when it opened more than 125 years ago.
Following the film, D23 Gold and Gold Family Members had the opportunity to attend the “D23 Dessertopia” complimentary reception. During this exclusive experience, guests had the opportunity to enjoy a wild selection of delicious desserts, meet the dynamic duo of Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde themselves, and also spend time chatting with fellow members! It was a great opportunity for Disney fans of all ages to share their favorite characters and moments from the film.
Before heading back into the chilly Chicago air, guests received vibrant Zootopia-themed sunglasses!
