D23: The Official Disney Fan Club Members were invited to take a bite out of the “big orange” at D23 Night at the historic Anaheim Packing District which took place in the days leading up to The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. On Tuesday, August 6, D23 Night at the Anaheim Packing District presented by Ravensburger was not only filled with delicious food from Orange County and global cultures, but it was also “packed” with Disney charm. As a special treat, our D23 Gold Members were able to get a discounted “World Taste Pass,” offering samples of eight delicious food options at many Packing District establishments.
Adding to the afternoon fun, our friends at Ravensburger brought fan-favorite games for all to play! Throughout different areas in the venue, fans could experience Disney themed games. Inspired by Chronicles of Light: Darkness Falls (Disney Edition), fans were able to wander through Chronicles of Light Lane, playing rounds of the game with their newfound friends. Over on the lawn, Ravensburger gaming experts guided fans through their Disney Lorcana journey to help them assemble the perfect team for gameplay. Whether loyal enthusiasts or those who were just learning the ropes, everyone became part of the quest. For those who preferred the darker side, fans were invited into The Villains Lair to immerse themselves in Ravensburger’s Disney Villainous games where they stepped into the shoes of iconic Disney Villains. Fans also captured special moments during the evening alongside fantastical, larger-than-life photo ops featuring beloved characters from Chronicles of Light and Disney Villainous.
Throughout the night, in the MAKE building, D23 hosted three exciting rounds of “Tasty Trivia with D23!” Our most passionate fans had the chance to win fan-tastic prizes. The trivia rounds were inspired by themes from a variety of Ravensburger’s signature games and puzzles: Disney Princesses, Disney Villains, and Marvel & Star Wars. Also in the MAKE building, fans stepping inside the Unsung Brewing Company enjoyed “Sip & Sketch” where they could try their hand at drawing their favorite Disney characters.
Throughout the evening fans enjoyed music as DJ Crisanto spun enchanting mixes of beloved Disney songs, creating the perfect backdrop for fans to dine and dance the night away.
