Post-holiday, we now find ourselves firmly ensconced in summer—and all that the word entails, including plentiful backyard barbecues, trips to the shore (be it beach or lake), and time to relax with lots of quality viewing from around the worlds of Disney! This weekend, we’ve got a veritable smorgasbord of unique delights, including incredible new works from African animators; a brand-new look into one of country music’s most fan-tastic festivals; the season premiere of a beloved primetime game show; and so much more. Told through exclusive one-on-one interviews, never-before-seen archival content, and CMA Fest performances, CMA Fest: 50 Years of Fan Fair celebrates the festival’s humble beginnings as Fan Fair in 1972—which drew 5,000 fans to Nashville’s Municipal Auditorium—to its move to the Tennessee State Fairgrounds in 1982, and then ultimately to downtown Nashville in 2001. The Fair now draws more than 90,000 fans a day, across four days, with attendees from all 50 states and 51 countries! CMA Fest: 50 Years of Fan Fair features exclusive interviews with some of country music’s biggest names, including Vince Gill, Luke Bryan, Kelsea Ballerini, Dolly Parton, Wynonna Judd, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, and many more.
