7 Billion-Dollar-Earning Animated Movies You Can Stream on Disney+

Audiences can’t get enough of Disney and Pixar’s Inside Out 2.

On Sunday, June 30, the critically acclaimed sequel crossed the $1 billion mark at the global box office in a record 19 days. Only 11 animated films have ever reached that milestone, with Pixar Animation Studios or Walt Disney Animation Studios producing eight of those titles.

As we here at D23: The Official Disney Fan Club celebrate the film’s continued box office success, we’ve curated a list of Walt Disney Studios’ other billion-dollar-grossing animated films that fans can stream anytime, anywhere­—only on Disney+!

Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 3 (2010)

As Andy (voiced by John Morris) prepares to leave for college, his toys—including Woody (voiced by Tom Hanks), Buzz Lightyear (voiced by Disney Legend Tim Allen), and Jessie (voiced by Joan Cusack)—wonder what will become of them. A mix-up brings them to Sunnyside Daycare,  where a room full of untamed kids can’t wait to get their sticky little fingers on these “new” toys. It’s comic pandemonium as Andy’s toys try to stay together, ensuring that “no toy gets left behind.”

Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Frozen (2013)

Spirited optimist Anna (voiced by Disney Legend Kristen Bell) teams up with a rugged mountain man, Kristoff (voiced by Disney Legend Jonathan Groff), and his loyal reindeer Sven (Groff), for an epic journey that involves frosty weather, mystical trolls, and a summer-loving snowman named Olaf (voiced by Disney Legend Josh Gad). Their goal? Find Anna’s sister, Elsa (voiced by Disney Legend Idina Menzel), whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter.

Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Zootopia (2016)

In the modern metropolis of Zootopia, animals from every environment live together in harmony. As the first bunny on the police force, Officer Judy Hopps (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin) wants to prove herself and jumps at the opportunity to crack a case—even if it means teaming up with the sly, scam artist fox Nick Wilde (voiced by Jason Bateman) to solve the mystery.

Disney and Pixar’s Finding Dory (2016)

Forgetful blue tang Dory (voiced by Ellen DeGeneres) is living happily in the reef with Marlin (voiced by Albert Brooks) and Nemo (voiced by Hayden Rolence)—until she remembers she has a family who may be looking for her! So, the trio takes off on a life-changing adventure across the ocean to California’s Marine Life Institute, an aquarium and rehabilitation center, to find her parents.

Disney and Pixar’s Incredibles 2 (2018)

When Helen aka Elastigirl (voiced by Holly Hunter) suddenly finds herself in the spotlight, her husband, Bob aka Mr. Incredible (voiced by Craig T. Nelson), stays home with kids Violet (voiced by Sarah Vowell) and Dash (voiced by Huck Milner) to navigate the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life. It’s a tough transition for everyone, made tougher by the fact that they are oblivious to baby Jack-Jack’s emerging superpowers. Things take a turn when a new villain emerges with a brilliant and dangerous plot that threatens life as they know it. But the family has never shied away from a challenge—especially with Frozone (voiced by Samuel L Jackson) by their side!

Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 4 (2019)

Woody’s priority is taking care of his kid, whether it’s Andy or Bonnie (voiced by Madeleine McGraw). But when Bonnie creates a reluctant new toy called Forky (voiced by Tony Hale), a road trip adventure alongside old and new pals opens Woody’s eyes to just how big the world can be for a toy.
