Disney Internet Group Formed in 2000 as the umbrella organization for GO.com, ESPN.com, ABCNews.com, Disney.com, and similar businesses. It combined with Disney Interactive Studios to become Disney Interactive Media Group in 2008. In 2012 the name was shortened to Disney Interactive.
