The True-Life Adventure films led to R’Coon Dawg, and wartime experiences of the staff led to a number of cartoons featuring Donald Duck. The scale-model train hobbies of animators Ward Kimball and Ollie Johnston, and of Walt Disney himself, led to Out of Scale.
