Scrooge McDuck Donald Duck’s popular rich uncle; created by Carl Barks in a 1947 comic book story, “Christmas on Bear Mountain,” and soon starred in his own comic series. He went on to star in the films Scrooge McDuck and Money and Mickey’s Christmas Carol, and the television series, Ducktales.
