The story of one of the nine students who, in 1957, were the first African Americans to attend the previously all-white Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas. Ernest Green overcomes prejudice and threats of violence to pursue his dreams of education. Stars Morris Chestnut (Ernest Green), Ossie Davis, C.C.H. Pounder. President-elect Bill Clinton and his longtime friend, Ernest Green, attended a special showing of the film at the Little Rock Central High School before its premiere on The Disney Channel.
