Disney Dreamers Academy – Established in 2007, the Disney Dreamers Academy, with Steve Harvey and ESSENCE Magazine, is dedicated to providing youths, known as Dreamers, with experiences at the Walt Disney World Resort which allow them to explore possibilities that can turn their dreams into reality. In a four-day program, the Dreamers engage in a variety of activities while working with community and industry leaders, cast members, and celebrities. The first career enrichment program was held in January 2008, during The Year of a Million Dreams.
