The film visits cities and small towns of Switzerland to explore the local customs and activities during the seasons. The climax is a climb to the top of the Matterhorn with three mountaineers. Along with Third Man on the Mountain, it was this film that helped inspire Walt to build a Matterhorn at Disneyland.
