Mickey’s Kitchen The Walt Disney Company’s first restaurant venture outside of its theme parks, begun in 1990 with one facility next door to The Disney Store in Montclair, California. A second one was later opened in Schaumburg, Illinois. The fast-food restaurants, which emphasized healthier fare, did not catch on and the two were eventually removed.

Mickey’s Magical TV World Show at Mickey’s Starland; opened on April 26, 1990, and closed on March 11, 1996. Upon exiting Mickey’s House, guests entered the theater where they could watch a live show featuring Disney characters from the television shows. It was formerly Minnie’s Surprise Birthday Party.

Mickey’s Fun Wheel Ferris wheel attraction at Disney California Adventure which took the place of the Sun Wheel on May 4, 2009. A large image of Mickey Mouse took the place of the sun image on the side of the wheel. It closed Jan. 7, 2018, to be replaced by the Pixar Pal-A-Round.
