Legend of El Blanco, The (television) Television show; aired on September 25, 1966. Directed by Arthur J. Vitarelli. The show is based on an old Aztec legend about a white horse owned by Hernando Cortez, with the narration sung rather than spoken, by the group Los Tres Con Ella. The area has been having a drought, and the natives believe only the return of the white horse can end it. A colt, thought to be the offspring of the legendary horse, is discovered and hidden from an evil horse trader by a peasant. The colt grows up to lead the wild herds. Stars Alfonso Romero, Jose F.
