Courvoisier Galleries Art dealer Guthrie Courvoisier had the foresight to see the value of Disney cels and other artwork, and through his gallery in San Francisco, he sold Disney art, including pieces from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, Fantasia, Dumbo, and Bambi, from 1938 to 1946. This artwork, which he priced from a few dollars up to perhaps fifty dollars for the most elaborate pieces with original production backgrounds, is today often worth many thousands of dollars.
